no sales calls?

For the last 7ish years, I've been selling asynchronously, through email and Loom/Tella videos. An occasional Voxer conversation.

But the biggest thing is:

I'm not scheduling a sales call, then praying to all the forces of heaven that my kids will cooperate and do quiet time quietly...

…and I can show up to that sales call.

That technique of "scheduling then showing up to a scheduled call" just hasn’t worked for my life for a loooonnnngggg time.

Even when I made it work for my life.

I showed up to sales calls hassled and stressed-out, sweat under my pits from the pressure of making it happen and getting the rest of my life to align perfectly.

So, when I was pregnant with baby #2 about seven years ago, I set about figuring out how to have sales conversations asynchronously.

Meaning:

You talk, then I talk.

But it's not a back-and-forth conversation happening in real time like a Zoom or phone call.

Rather, it looks like this:

You ask me questions in an email, or share your hesitations around moving forward.

I answer you via an email, voice note, or Tella video. And we chat, then when I feel like it’s right and you're ready to move forward, I invite you to take that next step to buy.

If you've bought something from me in the last 7 years that's $1,000 or more…

… you've probably experienced this conversation with me.

In fact, I'm in the middle of two conversations just like this right now.

Just last week, I closed a conversation for almost $2,000 in new revenue.

For the first time ever, I’m showing you my techniques on how I do this.

You’re amazing,

Laura
